Prague Main Station is the largest train station for passengers in the Czech Republic and handles approximately 70,000 passengers a day from regional, national and international trains. Beautiful historic main building and metal decorated hall above the tracks is the largest Art Nouveau monument in the Czech Republic. The underground floors then serve as a check-in hall, ticket sales, but you can also find various restaurants, shops, toilets and transfer to the metro.
Although the train station is located in the city center and is connected to the metro station, it is not a very convenient choice to travel to other parts of the city. The main train station is located between the intersections of the three metro lines and you will probably have to change the line at the next stop. The city bus stops here only at night.
