Klinovec is 1244 meters high and is the highest mountain in Western Bohemia and the whole Ore Mountains. You will find over 146 km of cross-country trails here and around 31.5 km of slopes in the best SKI resort in Western Bohemia, which can use artificial snow on the slopes to ensure that there will always be plenty of snow the whole winter. Ski resort Klinovec can offer you 5 new heated chair lifts, 11 ski lifts and 5 ski tracks for children. If you like freestyle, you will find here plenty of obstacles and jumps in the Funpark. Moreover, if the conditions are good, freeride lovers can enjoy over 2 km of untreated slopes. You can also rent ski equipment here and hire a certified instructor, who can teach you how to ski properly or show you what to improve.
Klinovec has a lot to offer even during the summer. You can use the chair lift to get to the top of the Klinovec, where you will find 24m high stone lookout tower from 1883. However, very popular recently became the Trail Park, which is located in the Jachymov forest and offers 24 km of specially designed trails for maximum enjoyment of mountain biking. The trails are built in three levels of difficulty. Complete beginners can try easy off-road trail and bumps on the pump track or improve their skills in Skill centres.
If you get hungry, you can try the restaurant U Stare lanovky. During the winter season, you can grab fast food or enjoy the ski bars and après-ski!
